Tuesday 1st March

7pm. Jane had a little porridge this morning and a very little custard at lunchtime and this evening. But on the whole she has been very tired. Leo and Lydia were with her during the day and that allowed me to go to the office for a few hours. Leo and I went back this evening but she was pretty much spark out.

We had some really good messages and phone calls today and a lovely card from Sally C in Ontario; Sally, I read out your list of happy memories to Leo and Jane. I remember that trip to Avebury Ring in 1989(!!) so well. Thank you too, Holly.

I am sorry that I don't have anything more positive to say - it's the nature of this particular journey.

God Bless you.

Thank you for faithfully keeping us updated Peter. So sorry this is a slow path for you all to travel.
Be blessed by knowing that you are always in our thoughts.
Remind Jane about one of the times we were home from Beirut for Christmas and an Aunt, (Kay perhaps!) cleverly came up with the idea that we, the children, could do some showing off specially for Nana, of knees up fame. I had to show off my ballet and you your singing. I reluctantly executed my best arabesque in front of everyone and when your turn came you went into the other room...to sing. How I envied you your voice that could travel through walls!
Lots of love and gentle hugs,
Vivienne, Larry and the family.

Thinking of you all as often as possible on a road less travelled. Glad to see that custard is still very much on the menu but in smaller quantities. Remembering the bbq's in your garden last year as we got to know you all a little better! Gentle love 'n hugs

Hi Peter. Give our love to Jane please. We may not have been in touch recently but you and Jane and the family are in our prayers every day; especially that you will be sustained and strengthened through all this long vigil of love. We'll get news through your blog (only just discovered it), but also if there's anything we can do let us know.
With our love and continuing prayers,
Peter & Carol.
